There is no minimum or maximum contribution required to participate. At the end of the financial year, your employer will include your total donations in a payment summary, which you can report in your tax return. If your employer chooses to match your donation to Telethon Kids dollar-for-dollar, the impact of your generosity will be multiplied. In summary, not only will the staff and organisation be contributing to a great cause, but you will also receive immediate tax benefits.

Example of non-matched giving
What you give pre-tax It only costs you - Telethon Kids receives
$5.00 $3.50* - $5.00

At Telethon Kids, our employees have the option to give back through workplace giving. Over the past five years, staff involved in our workplace giving program - Peers & Partners, have collectively raised nearly $130,000.  Each year the total raised through Peers & Partners is doubled by the Institute to support many worthy projects, including research project seed grants, student scholarships, capacity building for Aboriginal staff and students, collaboration grants, and employee wellbeing.

I give to Peers & Partners because I believe in the power of collaboration to support getting research off the ground. I was the recipient of a philanthropic award and it has made a positive difference to my career.
